CHARITY

Cooking4Life are inspired by the amazing work of The People’s Kitchen in Newcastle. After supporting a primary school with a sleepover which raised awareness and money for this worthy charity, Cooking4Life embarked on making a difference too. The Christmas Care Box Appeal was launched in November 2011. Carr Hill, Crookhill, Dunston Hill, Dunston Riverside, Glynwood, Roman Road, The Drive and Winlation West Lane Primary schools all rose to the challenge of providing shoe boxes filled with Christmas presents for the homeless. Cooking4Life hosted a handover for the local primary schools and were joined by Mauren Hogg and four other representatives from The People’s Kitchen. Nick and the schools were delighted to hand over more than 400 boxes to be distributed to the homeless this Christmas.
